Ridley, a 2002 black Hanoverian Stallion was bred by Marefield Meadows and is owned by Chris Rush who purchased him as a yearling. He began his show career the following Spring in-hand at Great Meadows in The Plains, VA. This CDCTA show included classes for both Dressage and Hunters in-hand. Ridley won both of the classes under different judges and was the champion of the show. Ridley continued his winning ways as a Two-Year old and finished that year in 11th Place in the USDF ratings.

In 2006 as a Four-Year old, he continued to be shown in-hand and also under saddle in Breed Shows. He was first or second in every class he entered. Ridley was the Champion Mature Stallion in each show. He qualified for Dressage at Devon where he placed Fourth in the Mature Stallion Class. Ridley also won the DAD Sport Pony Class for the second time, having also won it as a Two-Year old. Ridley finished 2006 in 7th place in the USDF Mature Stallion standings.

We are pleased to have Ridley stand the 2011 season at Bae Prid Farm in Gainesville, VA where we have a great team. Ridley paired with rider, Stacy Pattison, who is training with Jeremy Beale, all under the watchful eye of my good friend, Pat Limage. They successfully entered FEI competition at PSG in 2010. Stacy finished the year as a USDF

Ridley's foals were well received at their inspections too. A black colt bred by Ann Kitchell was the champion of his GOV Weser-Ems inspection and a chestnut filly bred by Mary Barrett received First Premium at her ASPR inspection.
