Trail Rides
We offer an Introductory Riding Lesson followed by a Trail Ride for riders who are new to horses or would like a refresher. We'll teach you the basics of grooming, tacking, mounting, start, stop, turn in a safe environment. When you are comfortable we'll go for a guided tour of Fair Winds Farm bordering the beautiful shores of Back Bay. You can see our visiting Ospreys, Blue Herons, Cattle Egrets, Killdeers and Bald Eagles. This is a great gift idea for folks who think they might be interested in riding lessons. We promise a safe, fun time.
Allow 1 1/2 to 2 hours for this adventure.

Trail Rides for Special Occasions
Fair Winds Farm is a great place for a family ride, a mother/daughter day, celebrate your special time.
It's nice to visit our farm and our horses, take a private trail ride, spend the night in our farm house, have a romantic dinner on our island or lunch by the water. Just the drive to the farm as you cross the Marsh Causeway is beautil. Plan an afternoon trail ride followed by dinner with a campfire as the sun sets. It is spectacular here.

We would like to express our gratitude for the hospitality that Chris Rush and her friendly staff showed us for our visit to your wonderful farm. We both had an very exciting time,that was both educational and relaxing. The experience is one we will surely recommend to others. Between learning about horses and the horse ride itself was enough,but to top it off with the kind hospitality and home cooked meals-I'm sure that there is no one that would not enjoy this getaway. We do wish we had more time to spend,but busy schedules kept us moving faster than we would have liked. We do hope to make another trip in the near future and thanks again from the both of us!!
