Animal Care
Fair Winds Farm now offers Animal Care for your pets and farm animals either here on our farm or at your home or farm. We have years of experience with our own animals and have often cared for friends, neighbors and client animals. We have owned and/ or cared for dogs, cats, a variety of birds, fish, hamsters, gerbils, bunnies, several types of exotic animals including snakes, turtles, frogs, spiders, ferrets, sugar gliders, etc… as well as horses, goats, sheep, pigs, cows, chickens and more.
Fair Winds Farm Animal Care offers the best of all worlds for pets and owners. Pets can remain in familiar surroundings, maintain their routines, and eat their usual diet. Your pet will not spend endless hours in a kennel. There will be no exposure to illnesses from other animals. Care in your home reduces the trauma and anxiety for both pets and owners. We are caring, compassionate and knowledgeable. Our services allow you to confidently leave home without worrying about your pets' well being.
We can also care for most other domestic animals. We either currently or previously have owned chickens, goats, lambs, pigs and cows. We are long time horse owners with our own facility. We can care for your horses at our farm or yours. At Fair Winds Farm we offer lay up care, foaling out services and foal care as well as backing and training. Our foaling stalls are 12'x24' and have cameras. We have individual turn out paddocks as well. We have lots of experience foaling out mares and a very good relationship with local veterinarians.
